I stood in line beside a handful of locals, who steadily streamed in for their favorites. The Sandwich Shop appears to be a family owned and operated business, and they have found the magic ingredient! COVID: so, this place follows all the proper protocols, and the restaurant is clean, so no worries. Once, I saw one of the employees replace her mask, but that was for a few seconds, and then back to work. Again with the locals--I was the only person who had never been to the deli/pizza place. And those who were in line were well established customers. The kind man who worked the counter knew most by name and even anticipated their orders. "Another BLT?" I heard him ask one lady, who nodded and said, "You know it!" I ordered the Ultimate Sandwich, which was a footlong sub on white bread with three different thinly shaved hams and salamis, topped with whatever veggies you want and your choice of cheese. OMG! This sandwich was AMAZING! It was so good, I wolfed it down too fast and almost made myself sick. The meats were so savory and the bread so fresh, along with whatever they add to it came together to form a nearly perfect sandwich. The sandwich and my bottled water ran me around 8 or 9 dollars, and it was as good as any deli meal you can find. This place could go toe to toe with any street in NYC and be a contender! Trust me, you'll never eat at the Subway down the street once you experience this family deli. #todaysdiscovery

The best sandwiches around. I was working in the area for 3 weeks and went to this restaurant almost daily. Every sandwich was very tasty on their homemade bread. The pizza is also very good. Wish there was a Sandwich Shop in every city that I work in, If you go, you have to pick up a bag of the Fox's Potato Chips. The Salt and Pepper are my favorite.
